My First Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, everybody came over to my house
so we could look for these eggs that Dad and Uncle Steve
hid all around the yard....



Hmmm....
Looking.... looking.... looking....


Look, Mom! I found one!
And there's something in it!


I'll just put everything here in my basket!


I've got plenty of room left for more eggs...
gotta keep looking!


I'm officially on a mission now!


And even Mom wanted to borrow my basket
to see if she could find any!

Still trying to get this pink egg open....

But wait!
This doesn't look like chocolate!!!!!
Back in the egg it goes!



I wanted to wander around later to make sure
we got all the eggs, but my new friend Amy wouldn't
even let me go all the way down the driveway!


And even Aunt Kieran wouldn't let me check the street!
Everybody kept blocking me from where I wanted to be!


Oh well....
After Mom assured me all the eggs were found,
Aunt Kieran and I headed to the back yard to bust some moves!


Then it was time to relax
and have a bottle with Dad.


Hunting Easter eggs can be messy work,
but I sure did have fun!
