We Spilled La Bean

Or, more accurately, her name. We've decided on Katelyn Melissa. (But that, like most things, may be subject to change!) I know, I know.... It was never a choice on the poll, but it was one of those names that one of us just threw out and it stuck. In any case, Katelyn is beating me up pretty good this morning (and by morning, I mean it's almost 1 a.m.) and has sent me from the warmth and comfort of the bed to solitude of the couch lest my tossing and turning wake Ryan. Right now I'm watching my belly move around and it still amazes me. She is definitely getting around very well in her little world.

Last week was Thanksgiving and we really did have such a good one. After having a turkey lunch with Memaw and Grandad, we went to see Grandma D and spent some time with her. Then our friend Kieran came over for a late dinner at our place. A full day, but a very good one! We even braved a couple stores on Friday for birthday and Christmas presents. I can't believe Riley will be a year old in less than a month now! It really has flown. Plans for his first birthday are in the works and I've been scouring the internet for a cake recipe that's not loaded with sugar.

My next appointment with Katelyn is Wednesday. After today, Ryan is off for the week so we're all very happy about that. I'll update the blog after our appointment. I think we're going to start the two-week intervals to the doctors now. We're definitely in the home stretch.

Just as I think that she must have gotten comfortable, she's back to her water aerobics! But I'm going to try to get some sleep again, hopefully!
