Ready and Waiting

I'm beginning to regret putting that countdown clock on this blog! I know I'm almost there, but it still seems like it's never going to get here. This is definitely the longest part of pregnancy! I'm so ready for her to be here! Well - actually, I'm ready for her but totally unprepared at the same time. We haven't gotten her bassinet set up, I haven't washed any of her clothes, I don't have a bag packed, I haven't even washed my hospital clothes, we haven't gotten the swing out or the bouncy chair, I have no idea if my breast pump is in storage, or in Riley's closet or where it is, we're not even 100% sure which hospital we're going to go to... But still, I'm SO ready!

I keep having intense and bizarre pregnancy dreams. Ryan has started school again and is attending classes for his masters on campus one night a week. So of course, now my recurring dreams involve me going into labor while he's in class and I can't reach him. Yes - I'm a little paranoid!

Katelyn is active as ever. My next doctor's appointment is Wednesday. I told Ryan that depending on he what says, I may start getting our hospital stuff ready next weekend and washing her clothes.

I've been pretty tired lately. My belly keeps expanding, even though I was sure 3 weeks ago that there was no possible way it could get any bigger. Riley has started affectionately patting it now and very often. He'll smile as he does it which is very cute. Poor little guy doesn't even realize how his world is going to be turned upside down!
